Master of Science Degree

The Master of Science in Organizational Performance Program prepares you to meet the changing roles and demands of management by preparing you to become and effective leader and facilitator of performance improvement initiatives, organizational development projects, and change management strategies. The curriculum is designed to provide exploration of key industry topics, with a practical project for each to apply your learning. The program allows for preparation for as many as four highly recognized certifications, including the PMP and Six Sigma.

Learning how to apply the knowledge areas of business process management is the focus of this course. Additional work in learning how to apply what-if analysis and long-term contingency planning will be provided.

Acquiring the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to help the organization achieve its goals through the analysis of information and improving processes is addressed in this course. Further focus toward how to accumulate different types of information and then use that information to predict future organizational events will be provided. This course is also designed to help you prepare to become a Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).

Possible outcomes for this course include creating and writing a white paper, grant, training manual, conference presentation, designing a custom project for your employer, or preparing for a business certification in this content area, such as the PMI-PBA as agreed upon with the professor.
